Planters
The collection explores the cross-currents of ancient civilizations that once flourished throughout the Mediterranean basin — the intermingling of their cultural and artistic achievements, the overlapping periods of influence and tension, and the resulting instinct to express themselves through objects, artworks, and architecture. Distilling historical reference by abstracting classical shapes into minimalist forms, this on-going body of work is an ode to the enduring allure of Antiquity.
